This policy explains your rights regarding returns, refunds, replacements and cancellations.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the laws of England and Wales.


3. Research Products

All products sold by Axo Research Supplies Ltd are supplied strictly for laboratory research purposes only.

Due to the specialist nature of research chemicals, products must be stored correctly to maintain integrity. For this reason, opened or improperly stored products cannot normally be accepted for return.


4. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.

If your order has already been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled until it has been delivered.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.


5. Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind after receiving your order, you may request a return provided that:

  • you notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods;

  • the products remain unopened;

  • the original tamper-evident seals are intact;

  • products have not been used;

  • products remain in their original packaging;

  • products are suitable for resale.

Customers are responsible for return postage unless the return is due to our error.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law.


6. Non-Returnable Items

For safety, quality assurance and product integrity reasons, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Opened products.

  • Used products.

  • Products with broken security seals.

  • Products damaged after delivery.

  • Products stored incorrectly after delivery.

  • Custom-made or special-order products.

  • Clearance or discontinued items unless faulty.


7. Faulty or Incorrect Products

If you receive:

  • the wrong product;

  • a damaged product;

  • a product that arrived leaking;

  • a product that appears defective upon delivery,

please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Where appropriate, we may request:

  • photographs of the packaging;

  • photographs of the product;

  • the batch number;

  • proof of purchase.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will, at our discretion:

  • replace the item;

  • issue a refund; or

  • provide an appropriate alternative solution.


8. Missing Deliveries

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us.

Claims for missing parcels should be reported within 14 days of the estimated delivery date.

We will investigate with the courier before issuing any replacement or refund.


9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be processed using the original payment method.

Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after it has been processed.

Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.


10. Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to our mistake or a confirmed faulty product, customers are responsible for:

  • arranging suitable return shipping;

  • ensuring products are adequately packaged;

  • obtaining proof of postage.

We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service.

We are not responsible for returned goods lost or damaged during transit.

12. Refused Deliveries

If a parcel is refused or returned to us due to an incorrect address supplied by the customer or failure to collect the parcel, we may deduct:

  • any return charges incurred by us,

before issuing any refund.


13. Limitation

Axo Research Supplies Ltd shall not be responsible for product degradation caused by:

  • improper storage after delivery;

  • exposure to excessive temperatures;

  • moisture;

  • sunlight;

  • mishandling by the customer.


14. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable UK consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
